Without you
my skies are dark
I’m nothing but black.
Without you
the only thing that matters on a cloudy day
is the depths of the dark.
With thoughts of you
my skies have light
I’m all that’s blue.
With you
when I think about you,
the only thing that matters on a cloudy day
is the peeking blue sky.
the cloudy sky is all I know for
now
because to make it clear
it takes all of the love you can give
it takes you
it takes your heart to make me smile
When the day comes
and I see you underneath that cloudy sky
away from only my thoughts
and you are real in front of me
I’ll work with you to push those clouds away
because the blue sky sings all of my love to you
because the blue sky knows no darkness at night
when I think about you
the words that I write are written by soft clear blue skies
God is the sun
Let his warmth cover our bodies
let his spirit over flow us with the true meaning of love, because he is love.
